Kane County Dawgs Hires Head Coach

The Kane County Dawgs of the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) has hired Matt Griebel a resident of Joliet as their Head Football Coach. Griebel is a former offensive lineman for the Indianapolis Colts of the NFL; he also played for the Georgia Force and the Green Bay Blizzard Professional Indoor football teams. Matt has a Bachelor Degree from Indiana State University where he was a full athletic scholarship Football team captain and Scholar Athlete (2002-2003). He earned his Associate Degree at Joliet Junior College and was a N4C All Conference selection (2001), playing his High School career at Lockport Township. Matt will take over the head football coaching duties immediately and will begin the hiring process of his coaching staff and evaluation of players.
The Kane County Dawgs will play a 10-game schedule, with five home dates at Canlan Ice Sports Arena in Romeoville. An open tryout for the team will be held on Saturday November 3rd 2012 at the teams official training center, ESP Sports Performance, 2050 Mitchell Drive Oswego, IL 60543, Registration begins 5:15 pm, Try out Begins 6:00 pm.
