Philadelphia Soul to Takeover South Jersey

The Philadelphia Soul (7-3) will be holding a "Town Takeover" of South Jersey on Sunday, June 10 from 2-5 p.m. The Town Takeover, presented by Susquehanna Bank, presented by Susquehanna Bank and produced by The Celebrity Agency and Sam's Club, will take place at the Sam's Club located on the Blackhorse Pike in Williamstown, NJ and will feature a "run-through" practice by the Philadelphia Soul as well as a mini car show from Car Effex, South Jersey's premier custom auto shop with clients such the Philadelphia eagles Mike Vick, Trent Cole, Jason Babin, Jeremy Maclin and many more.
The event will be free to the public. During the practice, random residents will be asked to participate by "running plays" with the Soul team.
"I think it's great that the fans get to have so much interaction with the team," said Soul head coach Doug Plank. "The Soul are creating a unique bond with our fans that other teams don't have, and that makes our home crowd that much more passionate during games. It gives us a definite competitive edge at home."
At this family fun day event, local Philadelphia Band, Rivers Monroe, will be performing live with others to be announced along with a DJ before and after the practice. There will be "Soul Food" available for purchase at the event where the proceeds will be donated to charity. In addition to Soul players and coaches, there will be appearances by the Soul mascot, SoulMan, the Soulmates dance team,
Soul ownership and front office staff. After the practice, fans will be able to meet Soul players and Soulmates who will be signing autographs.

The Soul game on Sunday, June 24 against cross state rivals Pittsburgh Power will be the South Jersey Sam's Club Members night. Special ticket packages will be available for purchase at the Town Takeover on June 10.
