The Chicago Rush have announced that the team will be holding an open tryout for all positions (including kickers) at The Dome at the Ballpark located at 34 Jennie Finch Way in Rosemont on Monday, January 7.
Tryout Date: Monday, January 7, 2013 Time: 7:30a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Registration: 7:30 a.m.
Testing Starts: 9:00 a.m.
Pre-Registration Fee: $65.00 (Money due at registration, cash or money orders only)
Registration Fee: $75.00 (Money due at registration, cash or money orders only)
The Chicago Rush open tryouts are a fantastic opportunity to showcase your talents for the premier organization in the Arena Football League. This is your chance to impress the coaches and scouts and to earn a spot on the 2013 roster. Open roster spots for the upcoming season are available. Two contracts were offered at the fall tryout last season.
Chicago Rush games are broadcasted on National and local Chicago TV. This exposure provides you with an opportunity to showcase your skills to both national and local television audiences. Take this opportunity to compete for a chance to be a part of the team's run to the 2013 Arena Bowl.
Players will be evaluated in the following:
. 40 yard dash
. 20 yard shuttle
. Broad jump
. Position drills
. One on ones
*Testing and tryout will be held on Field Turf, spikes will be allowed. No metal spikes.
To pre-register call the Rush front office at (855) RUSH-WIN. You can also pre-register at opentryout@arenarush.com. In the email, please include your name, the position that you're trying out for, and a contact phone number. There is no additional money due for pre-registration, however it is suggested. There will be no refunds issued.
